Global OEMs to Join 2011 Telematics@China Forum with Great Enthusiasm

2011 Telematics@China Forum, the greatest annual event for Telematics industry around the globe, will be held at Shanghai Marriott Hotel City Centre from December 7 to 9 2011. 2011 Telematics@China is instructed by: Department of Science & Technology, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China; Department of Software Service Industry, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China; and Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, and is organized by Society of Automotive Engineers of China. Themed “AutoMobile - Innovative Opportunities for Consumer and Commercial Vehicles for both the OEM and Aftermarket Connectivity Solutions”, the event this year will provide a broad platform for Chinese vehicle OEMs, car dealers, and players in the OEM and aftermarket to have in-depth discussions about Telematics issues, exchange ideas and experience, and seek for new cooperation. The unique theme has attracted a host of the representatives of auto manufacturers at home and abroad to register for this forum. Until October 18th, 171 representatives had confirmed their seats at the forum, far exceeding the original quota: 150. Of the participating manufacturers, there are 49 consumer vehicle manufacturers including Shanghai Automotive Group, Shanghai Volkswagon, GM, Audi and Mercedes-Benz and 10 commercial vehicle manufacturers like Kinglong, Foton and JAC. This annual summit forum is worth expecting since these auto players will get together to analyze the development trend of telematics and share insightful ideas.
